Mr. and Mrs. Lemon
The story of my journey through infertility and motherhood. After 4 IVF's, and an FET, somehow we grew our little lime and now are miraculously expecting again.

And so we are really having a baby!
We went in for the 12 week appointment and surprise! I am actually further along than we thought. As of today I am 13 weeks and 3 days. Est. due date: 11/29. Scheduled c-section will be 11/23, the day after thanksgiving. Amazing, grateful and totally blessed. All looked perfect, heartbeat at 171 and all nuchal normal. Now, when to go public?

7 Months
Dear Baby Boy,
You continue to amaze us as you move into your 7th month of life. You are really starting to enjoy food now but still won't eat a thing with texture. You make a gag face and then proceed to throw up whatever bites you have taken. I guess you are just not ready yet. You have your first tooth on the bottom front right, it's so cute when you smile and smile you do. The last month has been challenging with your first real illness of an ear infection and Augmentin which made you violently ill. We are finally on the mend though. You love to explore and see the world from sitting up which you do very well. You still have no interest in rolling or crawling but the doctor assures us you will get there on your own timeline. You weigh almost 19 pounds and you are a tall boy. At your last doctors visit you were 29 inches putting you at the 98% percentile. You also have words now (baby babble words) you said baba first and can now say dada, I can't wait to hear mama! We love watching you grow everyday. We can't wait to have you meet your sibling (though we are still so very nervous and can't wait until our 12 week scan in exactly one week).
Love you baby boy!

First OB appointment
It's so very odd to be just a pregnant person. I had my first OB appointment today. It was just education and bloodwork. No doppler, no ultrasound, no internal. I said..so we are just supposed to know that the baby is okay in there? OB said, we have no reason to believe they are not. See you at 12 weeks. I'm not sure how I feel about just being a regular old pregnant lady. I miss the reassurance. I know I should be grateful to be in this bucket and I am but jeesh...the worry will continue!

A letter to our boy at 6 Months
Dear Baby Boy,
You are the light of my life. Your Daddy and I never knew a love so strong until we met you. You amaze us every day. These past few days you have really started to act like a big boy. You can sit up on your own for a few seconds at a time before you topple over, which you think is pretty funny. You also have started to expand your pallet with more exciting foods. So far you love apples and pears but you will eat almost everything with the exception of meat, you are our little vegetarian. Macaroni and cheese please!
At about 4 months you started flipping from your tummy to your back but you choose not to do it often. I think you know that if you whine, we will do it for you. You also are still not a fan of hanging out on your belly. You are getting better at it but for the most part, you just put your head down and sob which makes us so very sad.
You are a great nighttime sleeper going around 11 hours at a whack. You generally fall asleep during your bed time bottle at 7PM and we have to wake you at 6AM to get the day going. You are everyone's love. Your grandparents can't get enough of you and your smile lights up a room.
We love watching you grow every day. We can't wait to see what comes next.
Love,
Mama

First U/S...
There really is a baby in there. Measuring 5 weeks 6 days with a heartbeat of 100. Since we have no idea when I became pregnant with my unpredictable cycles the RE said this looks good to him. He said we are good to graduate to the regular OB. I am freaking ecstatic and scared to death!

Our Handsome Little Man
I am so scared that what could be happening isn't real but the feeling is so different than with baby J. I mean, just look at this face, I am happy no matter what our future bears. Praying of course for our second miracle but so, so in love with this little man.
